Toolbag Wednesday: 2009 Recap
Wednesday, January 13th, 2010After the snarkfest that was my earlier post this week (thank you Internets for the healthy debate), I’ve decided rather than add to it, I’ll leave you instead with a recap of the Toolbaggery of 2009.
Note: Toolbag Wednesdays 1-16 (circa 2008) can be found under “toolbaggery” and include such gems as After-the-Fact Boys, [Expletive] Blagojevich, The Bathroom Troll (who is STILL at large), Bubble Skirts, National “Take Your Kids to Work Day”, and Salt & Vinegar Chips.
Toolbag Wednesday #17: The Bobby Jindal Fan Club
Toolbag Wednesday #18: The Unfriendly Confines of Drunk Bus
Toolbag Wednesday #19: The Denizens of Lincoln Park
Toolbag Wednesday #20: Recession-Be-Damned Brides
Toolbag Wednesday #21: Angsty Pre-Birthday Tears
Toolbag Wednesday #22: AKA Reason Bajillion Why I’m Going to Hell
Toolbag Wednesday #23: The Hills (sans LC)
Toolbag Wednesday #24: H1N1 Doomsayers
Toolbag Wednesday #25: Tiger and His Menagerie of Mistresses
Which Toolbag incident do you find most offensive? And what or whom have I left out? Suggestions for 2010?

I vote for #18, the Drunk Bus. I might be the only person in Chicago that enjoys the winter because, living on the edges of Wrigleyville, it cuts down on the Ed Hardy/cargo shorts/flip-flops/hat backwards/arm band tattoo crowd. We got a Situation here! Let it snow!
Also… hey Palatine guy that took the Metra into Union Station for the game and are now on the Drunk Bus. That “retro” t-shirt from that time in 1980 when you rode the Metra into Union Station for the game… ladies large doesn’t fit you anymore. Buy a bra.
Dude. You closed the comments on your last post in an attempt to black people from commenting… but I demand to be heard!!!
Seriously, we all need to hear that type of shit once in a while. And although Im a dude and I dont cry when its said to me- it doesnt mean that I dont appreciate it or need it just as much… because I absolutely do.
And thanks for taking the time to comment on my blog. I know you said you were a first time commenter but I do remember you from my old blog- A View From 5280ft. So thanks for reading me, again.
Not black people… BLOCK people.
Oh god. That is one of those mistakes that just does not look good at all.
damnit.
Hi Matt- thank you for DEMANDING to be heard. I guess I just didn’t want people to feel sorry for me because of me being in a whiny ass mood or something.
Glad you commented! Somehow I didn’t realize that was your new blog, but always enjoyed your old one and am glad I found this newish one.
Hi Nic,
As always, the queen of the delayed-reaction, but I thought it time I told you how much I enjoy your blog.
I’ve jumped on via *Batteries Not Included and have spent the best part of this hour catching up on your new year posts.
I think you’re fab.
