Did I mention that I think microwave popcorn is grody?
Someone (that would be my boyfriend) devoted a few hours to the Top Chef marathon leading up to last night’s finale…
What I have made for you tonight is a play on Depression-era cuisine d’poor. I bathed some Iowa corn with small waves of heat…a “micro-wave” if you will…resulting in a light and clean floret topped with table salt and steam heat diffused with cold air from an open window. Enjoy.
I think it may have brainwashed him.
