Not to be a jerk or anything, but let’s have a little chat about the whole Tiger Woods thing, shall we?

• I should preface what I’m about to say with a ”cheating is never okay, nor EVER justified” disclaimer. That said, can any of us really be that surprised that he cheated? People cheat all of the time- celebrities or athletes or what have you. Is the concept THAT shocking anymore?
• I’m certainly no expert, but does cheating with nine or so odd women a sex addict make? He may very well be in need of Dr. Drew’s assistance, but I think cheating can be a slippery slope. Once the cheating starts, where does it end?
• At this point, I don’t know what’s better….wait it out and take him for all she can, or cut and run and get on with life without the continued media coverage of being married to him.
• Maybe it’s just my personal experience with being in a committed relationship with someone who had side action on similarly excessive lengths, but in a way, knowing that it isn’t merely one person can somehow make it less emotionally harmful. I know, I know. But on top of everything else, at least she doesn’t have to contend with him actually loving any of those women.
• Speaking of harm, I too had the lovely experience of having to go to my lady doctor after being cheated on and have every test known to man run on me. It’s sickening to know that she, and many other women out there I’m sure, are exposed to that same experience. There’s nothing like crying from the confession you’ve just made to your doctor while your feet are in the stirrups.
• Which is perhaps why I smile every time I think of Elin going after Tiger with a golf club. Bravo, honey.
• All in all, the whole thing is an absolute nightmare. Being cheated on is such an embarrassing and belittling experience as it is, I cannot imagine having the whole world know how you’ve been taken in and taken advantage of…except that in this case, it would appear that the whole world has been taken in by his purported “values” as well.
• Now that I have all of that aired out, I’d simply like to add that I feel certain his actions will bring him all the happiness he deserves.

P.S. Tiger, your father would be ashamed of you. That is all.
