And Then There Was You
Tuesday, May 26th, 2009I stumble over words to describe how I feel about you, and yet I am drawn to the page to notate, define, declare it to be true. So often I write for myself; today I write for you.
You came into my awareness as a curious individual about whom I cautiously wanted to know more. If we are to believe in Fate and all its magical intent, there’s no denying it had a hand in this. That you found me, that you read me and still wanted to read on, that you emailed, that I replied, that our proximity and our personalities are so aligned….Fate.
If I were to allow myself to run away with my ideas and hopes and dreams, I would envision an entire lifetime with you. I would envision sunny afternoons basking in the contentment of much laying about on the couch. I would envision late night candlelight and twinkling eyes reflecting. Envision quiet mornings when silently we’d turn to one another and love as only two people in a bed early in the morning hours can. I’d envision fingers intertwined on autumnal walks, comfortably smug smiles exchanged across European cafe tables, ageless playfulness in sun and sand. I’d envision the possibility of whatever a life with you would bring and wherever it would take us. But always by each other’s side.
More and more as the days pass by, you make further inroads into my heart and I give myself over to you and to these daydreams. For that, for you, I feel a profound appreciation. Fate may have brought us together, but I will do all I can to love and keep you.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.
sooooo happy for you lady.
you are so deserving of all of this and more.
