Unrequited

I saw this on Post Secret and felt that all too familiar pang. That recognition of unfairness, of the words I so wanted to hear, then heard far too often.

Sometimes it just doesn’t matter anymore. Sometimes it’s just, more than, too late.

  1. I admire your strength to free yourself from his control & contradictions. Looks like he's found someone ignorant to the game…

  2. In my experience, it’s easy to move on, harder to mean it…

  3. Not sure if our boys are much alike, except in the game of push-pull, but I’d be curious to hear how you finally learned to stay away- especially when you still felt the pull. I was doing well until the drive by’s and pleading emails started coming in!

  4. When you’ve had enough, when you really don’t want to go back, it’s not as difficult. And no amount of drive-bys or pleading emails will change that.

I read It’s Called A Break Up Because It’s Broken too, and that seemed to help.

    Hope it helps!
