Because It's Friday & I'm Still Sick & I Can't Think Straight
Friday, May 18th, 2007Holy crap was The Office good last night! STOP READING IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN IT YET!
Okay, so now that that’s out of the way…it’s like I have ADHD or something. I can’t put a proper sentence together right now. It was THAT good. And I’m THAT much over trying to work while feeling this crappy.
So, where do I begin? Jan’s boobs? Michael selling his condo on eBay for 80% of what he paid? Shrutebucks? Ryan’s last minute surprise? Or Pam settling with the hope of finding her own “Karen” someday, then realizing the connotation?
Who didn’t love the irony of Karen calling Pam a “bitch”? I mean, come on! And Pam’s agreement to serve and commit to Secret Assistant to the Regional Manager: “Absolutely, I do,” and her final salute? Or how about Creed’s blog? HA!
And Jam? Man alive! That final moment reminded me of the ending to Good Will Hunting when he goes to “see about a girl.” Awwwwwwwwhhhhhhhhh. And her face when she asks, “what was the question again?” Priceless. I think we’ve all tried to talk ourselves out of caring for someone…like if we rationalize why we can’t be together enough, it will make it okay that we aren’t and it won’t hurt anymore. Never works though, does it?
But what about Karen? Wasn’t Jim her ride home from New York? Eeek. I wonder if he told her yet? I wonder if the dinner date with Jam is going to be all Rachel and Joey awkward when they tried to be a couple that one time? Perish the thought. What fun would that be for us?
Time for a Kleenex run to the Jewel.

Ahh, I was hoping someone would post about The Office finale!! I have to say, I did enjoy it but I liked the Beach Day one better. I suppose it’s because I was waiting the WHOLE entire finale for the Jim and Pam conclusion. (Which was fantastic by the way, but I agree, what the heck is going to happen to Karen? Jim doesn’t seem like the kinda guy who would make plans for a date without telling his gf first..). Anyway, Pams face at the end was priceless. Jenna Fischer just does so much with that character. (Oh, and I did love Creed’s blog. That made me laugh so hard…)! Happy weekend!
I’m so out of the loop, I watch none of these!
Hope you are feeling better! xx
I was thinking the same thing about Jim not being the kind who would do anything even semi improper. I just can’t imagine how he got out of that one though…
