Nic Narrates

My early morning ride into the loop on the CTA is conducted in silence. Amazingly, people don’t even talk on their cell phones! And should someone’s phone ring, they quickly, and apologetically, rush to make it stop.

Silent like a library or a wake. A wake. Huh. We’re certainly all dressed the part in our somber black coats and hats and gloves.

Makes me glad I decided on the red snow boots from zappos. They arrive tomorrow.
